Godwin Selasi Owusu is the Principal Consultant of Buoyant Creatives Consult Ltd, a Ghanaian partner of Space Firm, supporting the firm’s cross-border operations and multi-jurisdictional advisory services across Africa. He specialises in music law, entertainment law, intellectual property, corporate and commercial law, arbitration and immigration matters, helping clients navigate complex legal frameworks in both local and international contexts.

Prior to his move to the U.S., he practised at a reputable Ghanaian law firm, handling corporate advisory, commercial litigation, intellectual property, arbitration and entertainment law, which provided him with a strong foundation in multi-practice legal services. He earned his first degree in Political Science with Sociology from the University of Ghana (First-Class Honors) followed by a Law degree (LLB) from the same institution, and is a qualified lawyer in Ghana. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree (LLM) in Intellectual Property at Cardozo School of Law, New York, and working as a Spring legal Intern at Roc Nation further strengthening his expertise in IP, entertainment, and cross-border commercial law.

Based in New York, Godwin maintains strong professional affiliations in Ghana, enabling him to bridge legal frameworks and provide seamless support to clients operating across multiple jurisdictions.
